A morning of cooking, followed by a long Sicilian lunch.
Come into the kitchen at La Casalinga and spend a morning cooking, sharing and discovering the simple pleasure of Italian food.
This is more than a traditional cooking class.
Rather than simply learning one or two dishes, we’ll spend the morning creating a beautiful Sicilian-inspired feast together.
How it works
We cook together.
You’ll work in small groups, getting hands-on with different dishes, preparations and techniques as we bring the feast together.
You don’t need to be an experience cook. I’ll guide you through everything, sharing tips and little details I use when cooking for family and friends.
The aim isn’t simply to follow recipes.
It’s to learn how to put a feast together – how to balance flavours and textures, prepare different dishes at the same time, and make entertaining feel relaxed rather than overwhelming.
And then comes my favourite part …..❤️
We sit down and feast.
Once the cooking is finished, we gather around the table and enjoy a long Sicilian lunch together, overlooking our market garden and dam.
